Music Review: Graveyard – Hisingen Blues

I got my hands on a copy of this album about 3 months back and I have been listening to it each day since then. Graveyard are a relatively newish outfit from Sweden and they have found the perfect formula of Hard Rock, Blues and Psychedelic that will make any Zeppelin or Sabbath fan weep with joy.

The Album Hisingen Blues starts off with a very powerful track, “Ain’t fit to live here”, which immediately made me sit up and notice them. Come to think of it, the album ends off just as good (if not better) with the track, “The Siren”. What is found in between these two tracks are pure genius. Each song has a unique, very dirty sound to it, pure Hard Rock Bliss for the enthusiast. The 70′s has never sounded this good!

This album will be very hard to top off my best of 2012 list, and I will be coding to the sounds of Hisingen Blues right through the year.

RATING: 9/10
